APPROVED FOR ADOPTION

Skilled Korean graphic novelist Jung was only five years old when he was adopted by a Belgian family who raised him as one of their own. Through a mixture of live action footage and his own beautiful animation, the adult Jung shares his story of growing up in a world where he always felt different from the rest. Funny and touching, this memoir documentary explores the complex issue of identity in a multicultural world. – AP
