In this eloquent short, Ortiz turns the camera on her father, Epi Ortiz, who shares the emotional story of his unstable upbringing in Brooklyn. Having lived through the pain of having a mother with substance abuse problems, Ortiz learns to break the cycle and start healing the wounds of abandonment. – AP
