This year AFI DOCS is expanding into a number of landmark Washington, DC venues, in addition to hosting screenings in our beautiful AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Spring, MD.

Parking: There are two public garages that offer convenient access to AFI DOCS: the Wayne Avenue Garage between Georgia Ave. and Fenton St., and the Town Square Garage at the corner of Ellsworth Dr. and Fenton St. They both offer free parking on evenings and weekends, with metered rates of 75¢ per hour Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., and Friday 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m..

Metro: AFI Silver Theatre is walking distance from the Silver Spring Metro Stop on the Red Line. Track work is scheduled on the Red Line for the weekend of June 22-June 23, 2013. Buses will replace trains between the Rhode Island Ave and Forest Glen Metro Stations. For more information, visit: wmata.com/rail/trackwork.cfm

Metro: All of these theaters are located within walking distance of the Gallery Place - Chinatown Metro Stop on the Red, Yellow and Green Lines. The National Museum of American History can also be accessed from the Smithsonian Metro Stop on the Orange and Blue Lines.
