Craig Brody is a manager and producer at The Shuman Company, a literary management and production company. He represents writers and directors in both film and television. Craig joined The Shuman Company this past fall after spending 11 years as an agent in CAA's motion picture literary department.

AFI Conservatory Artistic Director, AFI Trustee

James L. Brooks is a three-time Academy Award® winner and 20-time Emmy® winner. A director, writer and producer, he is one of the most important master storytellers of our time. His films and classic television shows include AS GOOD AS IT GETS (1997), LOU GRANT, THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW, RHODA, ROOM 222, THE SIMPSONS, TAXI, TERMS OF ENDEARMENT (1983) and THE TRACEY ULLMAN SHOW.

HEIDI LEVITT (AFI Class of 1987, Producing)

A graduate of the AFI Conservatory and Barnard College, Heidi Levitt has cast such films as THE ARTIST (2011), JFK (1991) and NATURAL BORN KILLERS (1994). Recently, she cast and served as associate producer on CÉSAR CHÁVEZ (2014) and MR. PIG (2016), both directed by Diego Luna, in addition to Sally Potter's latest film THE PARTY (2017) starring Kristen Scott Thomas, Timothy Spall, Emily Mortimer, Cherry Jones and Cillian Murphy.

JACQUELINE LYANGA (AFI Class of 2001, Screenwriting)
Director, AFI FEST presented by Audi

Jacqueline Lyanga is the Director of AFI FEST, the American Film Institute’s annual film festival in Los Angeles. A graduate of the AFI Conservatory, she has been a guest and moderator of industry panels at the Berlinale, the Cannes Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF); a jury member for the Edinburgh Film Festival, the Sundance Film Festival and TIFF; and a member of the media arts grants committee for the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). Prior to AFI FEST, Lyanga worked for a number of other film organizations including TIFF, the Slamdance Film Festival and the Independent Film & Television Alliance.

BRIAN UDOVICH (AFI Class of 2004, Producing)

Brian Udovich is an award-winning film and television producer and AFI Conservatory graduate whose credits include ALL THE BOYS LOVE MANDY LANE (2006), THE WACKNESS (2008) and Hulu's upcoming sci-fi anthology series DIMENSION 404. For three years, he has served as the committee chair for the Film Independent Spirit Awards selection of the Piaget Production Grant. He is currently the COO and Head of Production at RocketJump Studios.

AFI Conservatory Librarian, M.L.I.S.

Robert Vaughn is the Librarian of the AFI Conservatory. In 2011, he became the head of the Louis B. Mayer Library, including the AFI Archive. He earned a Master of Library and Information Science degree from San José State University, and has 20 years of experience working in academic arts libraries and archives. Prior to AFI, Vaughn worked in libraries at the University of Southern California and the University of Arizona.
